Frequently Asked Questions
Are autistic people anti-social?
Even though people with autism do struggle with social interactions, they enjoy having their close family and friends around them. They can even learn to form new social relations with correct guidance and encouragement. The process is only slightly difficult in the beginning but a lot of individuals on the spectrum improve over time. Some people with autism do prefer their own company, but that is not unlike people who are not on the spectrum.
