Some of the mental health problems associated with autism are anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Anxiety disorders affect up to 42% of people with autism, while depression affects an estimated 7% of children and 26& of adults with autism.
