Frequently Asked Questions
Does ASD condition only affect boys?
Although the condition is more prevalent in boys, with boys being diagnosed four times more often than girls, that does not mean girls are immune. There are many girls with the condition as well. Some researchers have suggested that girls are better at masking their symptoms, which is why they are diagnosed less often and usually much later in life.
